A short film about the realision of sexuality, specifically lesbians. Myself and two other lesbians reflect on our self-revelation in our youths. OtA stylistically is mix of fictionalised scenes and art shots, many of which were chosen as they were symbolically linked to lesbianism.

LGBT short films is a market populated by coming out stories and I thought that the self realisation of sexuality was a really important part of self discovery and making a film based off it would bring something new to the table. I used real lesbian stories as I felt it would be more impactful to hear actual accounts than fictionalised scenes and lesbians face a unique stigma within society so it's nice to have our voices heard.
My true goal for this film was for lesbian voices to have the spotlight. I would love if people (especially straight people) could watch it and learn more about how emotionally hard it is to accept your sexuality when it's stigmatised.
