My original plan to cover a Glasgow-based American football team was no longer feasible due to the coronavirus pandemic. I was then forced to think about a new project and I noticed that after the wave of panic-buying was over, supermarkets received little coverage in news outlets compared to hospitals. I realised that as an Asda employee I had a level of unique access and would be able to create a project showing the measures we had taken during these unprecedented times.
I would like people to see that although I am very much focused on the area of journalism I want to specialise in, that I am also versatile and adaptable when it comes to creating content.
