Cane and Able Disability Podcast

This podcast took the format of an interview program, with a new guest each instance. The guest would be someone who has a disability and would discuss how it affected them and funny experiences which their disability enabled. Needless to say, this was a light-hearted, humorous podcast.

I chose to create this project as I felt it was necessary to convey the views and issues which affected an often ignored section of society, people with disabilities. This is of importance to me due to the fact that I myself have a disability, and this podcast could showcase the human side of these often-stigmatised people.
I want people to take from it, that people with disabilities are just like anyone else, with hopes, dreams and lives. Disability does not always need to be serious and sombre, but can often be downright hilarious instead. I wanted people to know of the funny stories and experiences.
